My Music

First album I ever got: First vinyl record was Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy," first cassette was "The Beatles 25 Greatest Hits," first cd was The Beatles' "Revolver," and first 8-track (yep...) was John Lennon's "Walls & Bridges."

Favorite bands/singers: So many! Here's a few: The Beatles, The Donnas, Sahara Hotnights, Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Girlschool, L7, AC/DC, David Bowie, Madonna, Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin, Poison, Cinderella, Scorpions, KISS, The Ramones, The Dollyrots, The Go-Gos, Dresden Dolls, Vixen, John Lennon, American Bang

How long I've played: Guitar for 15 years, piano for 20

How I got started: Well, I only learned to play piano because my older sister played piano and doesn't *everyone* want to be just like their older sibling? (thank god I got over that!) But I started playing guitar when I was 10 or so.I begged and begged (and begged some more) my parents to get me a black electric guitar and they finally relented and bought me a cheapo black "lead guitar" model from the JCPenny Catalog for a whopping $100....

My musical influences:Allison Robertson (The Donnas), John Lennon (no explanation needed), Kelly Johnson (Girlschool), Keith Richards (no explanation needed), Angus Young (AC/DC), Ace Frehley (KISS).
